Shout Outs to Future Lawyers
"I made it! Ateneo! Thank you sa support!"
-Rachelle
I just got a text message from 2 of my friends (Rachelle and Kennard) telling me how happy they are for passing the Ateneo Law Entrance Exam. In addition to that, they also said how thankful they are to me for I have somehow helped them.
I was really touched, you know, because texting me the fresh news that they passed is enough to make me feel happy. Texting me how thankful they are is more than enough to make me feel overjoyed.
"I can never describe how your presence made the weight easier. Sobra. You are a friend. Something money can never buy me."
-Rachelle
After a whole week of heat exhaustion, sleepless nights, dry and frizzy hair, endless handouts, FINALLY, I got something pleasant to the ears and warming to the heart. I really didn't know exactly how much I value to my friends, or even how much my presence would make a difference, and how much I've contributed to the RACHELLE PROJECT until this night.
It's amazing how God makes your life interesting and meaningful. Through the years, I've lost some and cried. I felt most of the time alone and did nothing but depress myself. But then I realized the weight of the benefits over the cost of losing some. My circle of friends have grown and did nothing but to continually grow. This is just one of the countless reasons why everything happens for a purpose. Through the years, I've lost some and cried. In the end, I gained more.
Yes, indeed, everything happens for a purpose. Whatever our destiny is and what is meant to be is already written and will be revealed in HIS time.
*Congratulations to the two future kumpanyero and kumpanyera who would take part of the Philippine history. *
